A variety of gentle muscle release techniques and energetic body processes to support a client’s progress.

Energy pathways and rejuvenation

Judy uses a variety of gentle muscle release techniques and energetic body processes to support a client’s progress. Bowen Technique, Emmett Technique and Myofascial Release are helpful tools in her toolbox.

Access Consciousness Bars and Body Processes are hands on energetic tools tools that allow more possibility for a body and can create dynamic shifts.

Genome Healing is a modality where clients are facilitated to work with their own body systems, organs stem cells and DNA to create balance in the entire body so that all parts can work together harmoniously. A number of fast and powerful mind-body methods are used.

Judy also draws on her studies of Jin Shin Jyutsu, Eden Energy Medicine, and Matrix Reimprinting, as required.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient form of touch therapy. It is the gentle art of harmonizing the energy pathways in the body, to rejuvenate a person’s own profound healing capacity and connect them with the endless energy of the universe.

Disharmony, pain and illness are all thought to be results of a disturbance occurring between various energies as they move through the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu teaches us how to use specific hands-on sequences to help bring balance to the body’s energies.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a valuable complement to conventional healing methods. The Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky recognises the importance of an integrative approach to patient care and offers Jin Shin Jyutsu to all cancer patients under their care. This light touch therapy assists with pain, stress, nausea, and other uncomfortable physical and emotional side effects of treatment and illness.

Client stories

Helen, touch therapy client

Helen was a woman in her sixties, who had a recent multiple myeloma diagnosis. Side effects from her chemotherapy treatment included painful neuropathy in her hands and feet, kidney dysfunction, and increasing tissue fluid in her legs. Walking was painful and limited. Helen wanted to support her medical care with energy based techniques. Jin Shin Jyutsu was used to harmonise energy flow through the kidney meridian, the water element, and to address fatigue. Body Processes from Access Consciousness were used to invite the body to create change and to dissipate excess chemotherapy from the body. Helen found her sessions to be deeply relaxing and a welcome addition to her medical treatment.

Eddy, touch therapy client

Eddy, was a twelve year old boy, with a recent lymphoma diagnosis. He had been complaining about back and shoulder pain and I was asked to see if massage would help him. He was lying in his hospital bed, intently watching a cooking program in Chinese. The back pain was chronic, he said, due to lots of contact sport, but now it was worse since chemotherapy had started. Eddy had not received massage before, but was willing to mute the TV so that I could play massage music. The massage was very gentle and included various gentle muscle release work from different touch therapies. Eddy nearly fell asleep during the massage, and afterwards declared that his back felt much better. “Thank you … I feel greatly relieved”.

Libby, touch therapy client

Libby was a highly sensitive person with a history of trauma throughout life. The major one concerned someone who was responsible for Libby almost losing her life. A recent one concerned a motor vehicle accident. Libby has breast cancer and is in palliative care. I had been seeing Libby fairly regularly for massage over the previous year. Now she was almost skin and bone. Although Libby came for a massage session to help her deal with nerve pain in her right arm and shoulder, she was willing to try a new trauma release technique for about 10 minutes to see what might happen. I suggested that she might like to try a recent traumatic memory as her focus. Libby went for the big one instead. Well over 10/10 intensity. We went through the technique, and at the end, after taking a deep breath in and out, I asked her what number the trauma might be for her now? She couldn’t answer. After a few seconds she said, “I’m still feeling the healing energy. It is here right above my head, just pouring into me”. We sat in silence for a couple of minutes. Finally she said “I’m at a 2”. Libby chose not to repeat the process straight away. She needed receive her massage while the energy was processing. Next time she came, we would do more.
